Fine Motor Skill Time
Fine motor skill is the coordination of small muscle movements usually involving small, precise thumb, finger, hand, and wrist movements.Activities that promote fine motor skills prepare the hand for writing.

  • It helps children refine their pincer grips (grasping an object with
    thumb and index finger)
  • The movement of the wrist leads to control and coordination when
    writing or colouring.
  • Picking up, manipulating, and exercising the small muscles in the
palm enables children to gain control and strength while colouring,
    drawing, and cutting.

Let’s get ready to strengthen the fine motor skill in our children
